Established in 2000, it is the first amusement park in the country to get ISO 14001 certification for environmental protection and OHSAS 18001 for safety. Wonderla is the only theme park in the country to use Reverse Osmosis Treatment technology to treat pool water. Spread over 30 acres of land with all ultra-modern facilities, Wonderla is one of the most visited amusement parks in Kerala. It has provided safe entertainment and adventure to over one crore visitors since its inception.
There are a total of 56 attractions, of which 34 are land based and 22 water based. Water rides include Wave Pool, Water Coasters, Waterfalls, Rapid River, Water Pendulum, Rain Dance, Boomerang and many other thrilling rides. Dry rides include 4D rides, Bumping Cars, Rocking Cars, Ferry Wheels, Dancing Cars, Gliders and many more. Vintage Tornado is an exciting ride which takes the rider on a roller coaster through the height of a seven-story building. 2. Dream World : Fly High on the Wings of Dreams
Located at Chalakudy in Thrissur district, close to the famous Athirappilly waterfalls, Dream World is a Kerala Tourism approved water theme park and a recipient of several awards of excellence. During its 15 years of service, it has won ISO 9001-2008 for Quality Management system, ISO 14001-2007 for Environment Protection and OHSAS 18001-2004 for Safety, making it one of the best amusement parks in Kerala. Water is purified every day morning and evening, and tested in Government laboratory every week. 200 types of rare Ayurveda medicines are planted in the Park for preparing a herbal garden. Established as a dry amusement park in 1996, it has been upgraded, in 2005, to one of the exciting water theme parks in Kerala. Spread in an area of 17 acres, Fantasy Park offers more than 35 attractive water and dry rides to the visitors of all ages. Water quality is maintained using online testing equipment as well as automatic dousing equipment. It has won the award for the Best Innovative Tourism Product in Kerala in 1998, instituted by the Department of Kerala Tourism.

Launched in the year 2000, it has passed through a 5-phase development, and the final phase was completed in 2005.
