Reliance Foundation Hospital

The Reliance Foundation Hospital, which is the brain child of Reliance Foundation was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi today, i.e. 25th October 2014. The prestigious H N Reliance foundation hospital is located in the Khetwadi area of Mumbai.

19 Storied Building

The hospital, which is a technology brought out at its best, is aimed to serve the poor and the farmers at a reasonable cost. The 19 storied building has the state of the art equipment and the best of the faculty which is worth calling a multi-specialty hospital. Each floor is equipped with Operation Theatre, which are completely digitized to give super fast service.

The history of the hospital goes back to 2006 when the Reliance foundation took over the Hurkisondoss Nurrotumdas Hospital, which was not doing well and started the construction work in 2011. Mrs. Nita Ambani, the Chairperson of the foundation was in the overall supervision of the construction and inception of the hospital. The hospital is founded with a good intention of helping the poor and needy. To fulfill this aim 10% of the 348 beds in the hospital are provided free service and 10% at a reduced rate. Each doctor is expected to provide fixed hours of free service at OPD and Surgical units, which enables the poor people to get the best medical facility.

State of the Art Technology

The hospital is studded with the best of technology in the areas of Diagnostics, Treatment and surgery. Innovative techniques are used in the construction and equipping the hospital. The hospital covers many wings of the medical science and special importance is given to neonatal care and maternity wing.

Finally the hospital is all set to redefine the medical service in India, especially to the poor who cannot afford the costly treatment elsewhere. Though the services are available to every patient, people in and around Mumbai will be benefitted more due to proximity.
